Troop 832 was originally chartered in 1992 out of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and over the years has transformed from a small group of eager boys and leaders to a Troop of over 40 boys operating in seven Patrols. Our Scouting program is built around the traditions of Scouting and uses the Patrol Method in order for the young men of our Troop to have the opportunity to to learn and use leadership skills in planning outings, preparing menus, teaching outdoor skills, encouraging advancement, solving problems, handling finances, and many other activities.
“The patrol method is not a way to operate a Boy Scout troop, it is the only way. Unless the patrol method is in operation, you don't really have a Boy Scout troop.” - Robert S. S. Baden-Powell
